There are no children's classes running at present, however a new, adult's dance class is starting up soon.
Here's the details so far:
Day: Monday or Wednesday
Time: 8pm - 9pm
Location: either on Victoria Road, Northcote, or at Preston Uniting Church in Murray Road (google maps tells me about 13 minutes from Northcote)
Class structure:: Beginning with pilates style warm up/strength building exercises, we will then do a combination of dance styles including jazz/modern, tap, ballet/contemporary, Flamenco, other national dances and even a bit of hip hop, depending on requests. As jazz and tap are the most accessible styles, we will return to these ones regularly to build skills.
Dance is unique in that it is the only art, that is also a high level sport.
